Founder and Design Director of the Digital Co-Innovation Agency Chilli
Oliver Gerstheimer is the founder and design director of the digital co-innovation agency chilli(mind in Kassel, in the heart of Germany.
With over 25 years of design practice Oliver Gerstheimer has been an enthusiastic and well-known ambassador for “human-centered design (HCD)”.
Together with the interdisciplinary chilli-mind-teams of multi-stack-designers and creative forethinkers he works for international clients in more than 15 different industry areas and has been awarded with more than 50 international design and innovation prizes.
Oliver regularly lectures and publishes on international innovation and design platforms and has been teaching design at German and Swiss universities for 15 semesters. To that he has been a jury member of the iF Design Award since 2016 and UX Ambassador of the UX Design Award in Berlin since 2022.
Oliver holds a degree in system design from the University of Kassel. He also studied Visual Communication at the Art Academy Kassel and completed the interdisciplinary supplementary studies “Technology, Impact and Innovation Management” at the University of Kassel.
